Kingston House High Tea and Government House Open Day

This has been a very busy weekend. On Saturday we attended the yearly High Tea at Kingston House. This event is always their largerst fundraising event of the year and we always enjoy supporting them. The Noarlunga Rifles put on their usual display for the guests. This year Nic and I also spent some of our time demonstrating the Game of Graces. It is wonderful how we see some familiar faces and some new faces every year. This event was even more special as Wendy and Dave had driven down from Tamworth to join Nic, Mandi and myself. It was great to have the whole group together again.

On Sunday we spent the day at the Government House Open day. In the morning I spent my time playing and teaching croquet. In the afternoon, Nic and I spent more time playing and teachin the game of graces. It is amazing how many people were willing to give it a try and really enjoyed themselves. I guess this is why we do what we do. With the beautiful summer weather, we set up a picnic table and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. Later in the day our table became a photo possing area witj visitors lining up to sit down with us and have their photo taken.
